We are not your fly-by-night trainers, and we don’t use gimmicks or the latest fads. We build a solid foundation of communication through consistency, trust and lifelong good habits for both dog and human. From potty training and socialization for puppies, to leash manners and recall for adult dogs, to refresher sessions when old habits creep back in, this is training with purpose because they are worth it.

Puppies can start as early as 10 weeks old, once they’ve had their first round of vaccinations. The earlier, the better. This is the prime time for socialization and building good habits. You can’t go back and make an unsocialized dog social in some situations and an unsocial dog can bite out of fear at a later age. That is why we can’t recommend early socialization enough. It can go a long way in molding a dog into the best dog it can be. Once a puppy is 18 weeks old, they have aged out of puppy class and cannot attend.
Not at all! Dogs of any age can learn, it is just a little harder. We can help! Our Adult Obedience program is designed specifically for older dogs who missed training or need better structure.
Yes. We use entirely reward-based training methods during Puppy Preschool with puppies under 5 months old. During our adult dog obedience course we also use reward-based training in the form of verbal and hand praise. We call this giving your dog a “paycheck” and that paycheck comes from you -the owner, not a treat pouch. In addition, we will teach you the art of correction so you can stop certain unwanted behaviors and teach your dog not to make the same mistakes over and over. This is done in a fair, safe and humane way in order to build trust and continue to build a bond between you and your dog all while addressing wanted behavior including aggression towards humans or other dogs.
Yes! If your dog needs one-on-one attention or has specific behavioral challenges, we offer private training options tailored to your needs.
Puppies should be CURRENT on vaccines, but it is not required that they have completed the entire round of vaccines because this will put them around the age of 4 months or older. It is a BIG mistake to wait this long to properly socialize them because by that age the socialization window is beginning to close and you have missed a great opportunity. It is VERY important to protect your puppy and not take them to public places where other dogs have been going to the bathroom. Out in public there is always a risk. The risk is mitigated at our facility. So, in the case of Puppy Preschool, the benefit outweighs the risk of not socializing your puppy until they are fully vaccinated.

Yes. With over 20 years of experience we take all dogs with all problems and focus on REAL results. Our program will teach you how to handle or control aggression and, in some cases, eliminate it all together.
No. While other training facilities are offering this option we do not because our approach is to teach the owner how to get their dog to listen to them right from lesson one. It doesn’t matter that the dog will obey the trainer, we don’t live with the dog, you do. For long-term success and results we choose to dedicate our time to working with the owner and the dog right away. We are your trainer and you will become your dog’s trainer. It is not necessary to drop your dog off with someone else to do the work.
No. We have experience with over 80 different dog breeds and do not turn any dog down. We have declined to work with some people but this is very rare and is based on willingness and sometimes capability.
